For this project, the owner wanted nothing less than pristine teak. Though Duratherm had already culled imperfections out of the flitches, project architect Lilla Smith needed to come up to the factory to edit out oil marks and dark streaks even further. Recalls Smith, “Duratherm was very patient in allowing me to cull out irregularities we knew our client wouldn’t accept.”
