This pool house utilized a unique adaptation of Duratherm’s Slide/Fold door system in solid Teak to create a screened pavillion that offers light and ventilation but shields the occupants. The louver blades were each set at separate, decreasing angles, a steep 45 degree pitch at the sill and gradual decreasing in pitch until they become horizontal at the top of the door panel. The result, while providing the desired privacy, also made for a sculptural look to the pavilion, particularly when seen at night.
