Siting a residence on the steep slopes and narrow roads of Belvedere Island in San Francisco Bay is always a unique challenge. Sutton Suzuki Architects are well suited to this task as exhibited here. Duratherm mahogany windows with naturally finished interiors and painted exteriors enhance an elegant design, help delineate the public versus private spaces and celebrate the spectacular views. We provided a variety of fixed and operable window and swing doors. Two sets of Sliding/Folding doors open the downstairs spaces to the expansive terrace and pool area.
