Lubowicki Lanier Architects crafted an exquisitely detailed residence located on a lagoon in northern California. Their devotion to a precise, crisp look naturally steered them to Duratherm. We collaborated with them on custom swing dooor entrances with total glass surrounds, exterior “pocketing” multi-track Lift/Roll doors with concealed flush sill detailing, and combinations of fixed and operable windows, all executed in clear vertical grain Douglas Fir. The result is more a piece of art than architecture.
